And, unfortunately, she’s suffering from a violent sleep disorder. Sophia is such a nice, kind and caring person. Even more, although she’s introverted and shy, there’s also so much courage and strength in her. Sophia is a really wonderful woman and I loved her so, so much!
Cillian O’Rourke is the enforcer on another of the city’s crime families. He’s one intense, dark and mysterious male with an even darker history. Even more, he’s a brutal, dangerous and deadly man, a cold-blooded killer. But there’s another side of Cillian, too. He might appear soulless and without any feelings, but this man takes care of what’s his and will do everything for the people he feels close to. He’s also quite possessive, obsessive and dominant. And that deliciously filthy mouth of his! Cillian is one absolutely irresistible man and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything between Sophia and Cillian! For a year, the O’Rourke enforcer has been obsessed with Sophia, each night breaking into her apartment, watching her sleep and, unbeknownst to her, helping her deal with her sleep problems. And Cillian is a man with a plan – not only to make the young woman his, but also to take over the O’Rourke empire. I adored those two! Their chemistry was off-the-charts right from the start! And the tension! The banters! The deliciously kinky moments! Ohh, the spice was absolutely SPICING with those two! Even more, I adored Cillian for giving Sophia everything she’s been missing in her life – support, safety, praise, even love (in his own way). And the more time Sophia spent in his company, the more she couldn’t resist Cillian’s dark pull. Yes, trust was tested, dealing with emotions was difficult and sometimes confusing, but when both sides are willing, things work out just fine in the end. Sophia and Cillian were absolutely perfect for each other and more than deserved to find happiness and love together.
Overall, While You Sleep is an intense, dark(ish) and very, very naughty story. If you love mafia romance, lots of spice, arranged marriage, age gap, suspense, twists, enemies to lovers, praise kink, somnophilia, “touch her and die” and fantastic characters, this is the story for you.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every page of it!
