Her Alien Boss by Ivy Knox

“Moonavi… The ice to my fire.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Her Alien Boss is the fourth book of the Stranded on Earth series by Ivy Knox.

Naomi was once a successful OBGYN, but her bright future was diminished when she was turned into a vampire. Despite the hardships thrown her way, I loved her strength and courage to keep to her principles and stand her ground. Even more, she’s so caring, feisty, compassionate and more humane than humans themselves. Naomi is an incredible woman and I adored her so, so much!

And then, we have Kyan Monroe! For all the stories so far, this alien dragon shifter has been nothing but grumpy, growly, arrogant and secretive. But he’s so much more to him than that! Because Kyan is fierce, dangerous, incredibly loyal and caring, determined, resourceful, and will do everything in his power to protect the people he cares about. Kyan is a remarkable male with quite the sweet tooth and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!

I absolutely loved everything that happened between Naomi and Kyan! Naomi becomes Kyan’s assistant to gather more information about the mysterious Monroe. But things don’t go according to plan. I adored those two together! Their chemistry was off-the-charts right from the start and I loved every moment they spent together. Ohhh, and the tension! Naomi and Kyan were such opposites but they were so understanding and supportive of one another and fit so well together. And when they couldn’t resist the undeniable attraction, the spice was absolutely SPICING with those two! Ohhh, I absolutely loved every passionate moment Kyan and Naomi shared. Who could’ve thought that the bossy alien dragon would love to give up control in the bedroom. But both Naomi and Kyan are keeping dangerous secrets and have a lot on their plates. What would happen when everything comes to light and will their love be strong enough to overcome all? Well, you’ll have to read the story to find out.

In addition, the storyline was phenomenal! Alien dragons, vampires, secrets, suspense, tension, twists, action, smoking-hot romance… What more could a reader want?! And crows! Oh, with that story I love crows even more (yes, Felix, you’re an incredibly good birdie and you deserve all the peanuts)! With everything happening, I was glued to the pages till the very end, excited to see how everything will be resolved.

Overall, the story is another spectacular addition to the series and an incredible series finale! And I absolutely loved every single page of it!

I’m really going to miss the Monroe brothers and their mates, but I’m so looking forward to the next absolutely amazing stories Ivy Knox will share with us!

Blurb

When Naomi agreed to play the part of Kyan’s assistant to spy on him, she never expected to find the one person who could make her whole again.

Naomi Zhao is a Chinese-American vampire who desperately misses her former life. Once a successful OBGYN, Naomi is used to saving lives, not ending them to feed. She manages, barely, but when her refusal to kill turns into blackmail, she finds herself spying on an arrogant CEO to learn his secrets.

Kyan Monroe is disgusted by the state of the world. Before coming to Earth, he was a skilled assassin who felt most at ease snuffing the life out of his targets. This dark desire hasn’t waned. He spends his days as the CEO of a media company, but his nights are spent training a pack of shifters to become cold-blooded killers. Why? To deliver his own form of vigilante justice to the real monsters roaming the streets.

Once Naomi becomes Kyan’s assistant, they learn how much they have in common, despite being polar opposites. Their connection is magnetic, and the professional line between boss and assistant blurs into a hot, spicy mess.

Just as they start to realize the depth of their feelings, the truth comes to light. Dragons, shifters, and vampires collide in the most horrific way possible, and nothing short of a miracle can mend their shattered bond.

About the author

Ivy Knox has always been a voracious reader of romance novels, but quickly found her home in sci-fi romance because, frankly, life on Earth can be kind of a drag and aliens are way more fun.

Ivy lives with her husband and a neurotic (but very cute) dog. When she’s not writing, she’s reading. And when she’s not reading or writing, she’s probably watching Superstore, Bridgerton, What We Do in the Shadows or The Fall of the House of Usher for the millionth time.
